Hindi Converter हिन्दी दफ्तरी काम के लिए मुफ्त टूल्स की एक छोटी, स्वतंत्र रूप से चलने वाली साइट है। इसे बनाने वाले हिन्दी टाइपिंग प्रशिक्षण और सरकारी दस्तावेज़ तैयार करने का काम करते हैं, और रोज़ उन्हीं परेशानियों से गुज़रते हैं जिनके लिए ये टूल बने हैं: कृति देव में टाइप पुरानी फाइलें जो नए कम्प्यूटर पर नहीं खुलतीं, यूनिकोड फाइल जिसे किसी पुराने सिस्टम के लिए कृति देव में चाहिए, कागज़ पर पड़ा आदेश जिसे दोबारा टाइप करना पड़ता है, और पोर्टल जो तय KB से बड़ी फाइल नहीं लेता।
कोई कंपनी या खाता नहीं है। सारे टूल मुफ्त हैं और साइनअप की ज़रूरत नहीं।
आपकी फाइलों का क्या होता है
आपके ब्राउज़र में ही: पीडीएफ जोड़ना और अलग करना, पीडीएफ से JPG, JPG से पीडीएफ, फोटो छोटी करना, फोटो और हस्ताक्षर का साइज, और पासपोर्ट फोटो शीट। इन टूल्स में फाइल हमारे सर्वर तक पहुँचती ही नहीं।
हमारे सर्वर पर: वर्ड और एक्सेल फाइल का कृति देव-यूनिकोड बदलाव, टेक्स्ट कनवर्टर, हिन्दी OCR (पीडीएफ और फोटो), पीडीएफ छोटी करना, पीडीएफ से पीपीटी, और हस्ताक्षर का बैकग्राउंड साफ करना। इनमें फाइल सिर्फ काम पूरा करने के लिए आती है और काम होते ही मिटा दी जाती है। उसे न रखा जाता है, न कोई देखता है।
साइट का अपना काउंटर सिर्फ गिनती रखता है, जैसे किस टूल से कितनी बार काम हुआ; उसमें फाइल का नाम, फाइल का टेक्स्ट या आपका IP पता दर्ज नहीं होता। इसके अलावा साइट पर Google Analytics भी है। पूरी जानकारी प्राइवेसी पॉलिसी में है।
शुद्धता कैसे जाँची गई
कृति देव और यूनिकोड के बीच अक्षरों की मैपिंग, आधे अक्षर और संयुक्ताक्षर समेत, एक भरोसेमंद सरकारी संदर्भ कनवर्टर से अक्षर-दर-अक्षर मिलाई गई है, और असली सरकारी दस्तावेज़ों के वाक्यों पर बने जाँच-सेट से हर बदलाव के बाद परखी जाती है। हिन्दी OCR साफ स्कैन पर करीब 95-96% शब्द सही पढ़ता है और मुश्किल टेबल वाले पेज पर करीब 88%, इसलिए नाम और अंक इस्तेमाल से पहले एक बार ज़रूर देख लीजिए।

Hindi Converter is a small, independently run set of free tools for Hindi office work. The person behind it works in Hindi typing training and government document preparation, and built these tools for problems met every day: Kruti Dev files that will not open on a new computer, Unicode files that an old system needs in Kruti Dev, paper orders that would otherwise be retyped, and portals that reject anything over a set size in KB. There is no company, no account and no sign-up.
Runs in your browser, so the file never reaches us: merging and splitting PDFs, PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, image compression, photo and signature resizing, and the passport photo sheet.
Runs on our server: Word and Excel conversion between Kruti Dev and Unicode, the text converter, Hindi OCR for PDFs and photos, PDF compression, PDF to PPT, and cleaning a signature's background. The file is used only to do the job and is deleted as soon as the result is ready. It is not kept or looked at.
The site's own usage counter keeps only totals, for example how many times a tool was used, and never records file names, file contents or IP addresses. The site also uses Google Analytics. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The Kruti Dev to Unicode character mapping, including half-letters and conjuncts, was checked letter by letter against a trusted government reference converter and is re-tested after every change against sentences taken from real government documents. Hindi OCR reads about 95-96% of words correctly on a clean scan and about 88% on a difficult table page, so check names and numbers before you use the text.
