How to use this tool

  1. Add the PDF and choose all pages or only some, like 1-3, 5.
  2. Pick the image size: 100 to 300 DPI, or an exact width in pixels — and a KB limit if a form asks for one.
  3. Download: one page comes as a JPG, several pages as one ZIP of JPGs.

When a portal wants a picture, not a PDF

Plenty of forms accept only JPG uploads — a caste or income certificate, a mark sheet, an experience letter — while the document you have is a PDF. Others want a single page out of a long PDF as an image to attach to a message. This tool draws each page you choose as a JPG, at a size you control.

Choosing the size

DPI decides how many pixels each inch of the page becomes. 150 DPI turns an A4 page into roughly 1240 × 1754 pixels, which is sharp on any screen and readable when printed. Use 200 DPI when the page has small print or a seal you need to stay legible, and 300 DPI only for printing — the files get large quickly. If a form gives a width in pixels, choose “Exact width” and type it; the height follows the page so nothing is stretched.

If the form also gives a size limit in KB, tick the box and enter it. Each image is saved at the best quality that still fits; if a page cannot fit even at the lowest quality, it is made a little smaller in pixels, and you are told which page that happened to.

The PDF stays on your computer

Turning a page into a picture does not need a server, so this tool does not use ours. Your browser opens the PDF, draws the pages and saves the JPGs — nothing is sent anywhere, which matters for certificates, ID documents and office papers. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab, or by switching the internet off after the page has loaded.

Good to know

A password-protected PDF has to be opened in your PDF reader and saved without the password first. Up to 100 pages can be converted at a time; for a longer file, pick the pages in parts. If you need the text of a scanned page rather than a picture of it, use the PDF to Word tool instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I set the size of the JPG?

Yes, three ways: a DPI (100, 150, 200 or 300), an exact width in pixels with the height following the page, and a maximum size in KB for each image.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are drawn and saved as JPG inside your own browser. The file never reaches our server.

How do I get only one page as a JPG?

Choose “Only these pages” and type the page number. One page downloads as a single JPG; several pages come as one ZIP file.

Which DPI should I choose for a form?

150 DPI suits most forms and screens. Choose 200 DPI if the page has small print or a seal, and add the form's KB limit so the file is accepted.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. Open the PDF in your PDF reader, save a copy without the password, and convert that copy.
