When all you have is the PDF of a presentation
Training slides, review presentations and briefing decks travel as PDFs — on WhatsApp, by email, on a pen drive — and the original PowerPoint file is often lost. Changing a date, a name or one figure then means typing the whole deck again. This tool rebuilds the slides from the PDF instead: every slide in its own place, the text as text boxes you can click into and edit, the coloured bands and boxes as shapes, and the photographs and logos as pictures.
Hindi that copies out as gibberish
A Hindi presentation saved with “Microsoft Print to PDF” looks perfect but its text is broken inside: copy a line and you get things like “कȧ” and “अͧभलेख”, and ordinary converters put exactly that into the slides. This tool reads the Hindi font that is stored inside the PDF and puts every letter, matra and reph back in the right order, so the slides say “की” and “अभिलेख” again.
Kruti Dev slides
Text typed in Kruti Dev can stay in Kruti Dev, so the slides look exactly like the PDF on a computer that has the font. Or it can be converted to Unicode (Mangal), which shows correctly on every computer and phone; the text is then made a little smaller where needed so each line still fits its box. After converting you can download the other version with one click.

This tool uploads the PDF: rebuilding the slides needs the fonts inside it, which only our server can read. The file is deleted as soon as your PowerPoint is ready. A scanned or photographed deck has no text inside, so its slides come back as pictures; to get the words out of a scan, use the Hindi PDF/Scan to Word tool. Effects such as gradients, shadows and glow come back as pictures, exactly as they looked. Up to 60 pages at a time.
जब पीपीटी की सिर्फ पीडीएफ बची हो
प्रशिक्षण, समीक्षा और ब्रीफिंग की स्लाइड अक्सर पीडीएफ बनकर व्हाट्सऐप या ईमेल से आती हैं, और असली पीपीटी फाइल नहीं मिलती। तब एक तारीख या एक नाम बदलने के लिए पूरी प्रेज़ेंटेशन दोबारा टाइप करनी पड़ती है। यह टूल पीडीएफ से ही स्लाइड दोबारा बना देता है — हर चीज़ अपनी जगह, टेक्स्ट ऐसे बॉक्स में जिसमें क्लिक करके बदल सकें, रंगीन पट्टियाँ और बॉक्स आकार (shape) के रूप में, और फोटो-लोगो तस्वीर के रूप में।

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the text be editable?
Yes, when the PDF was made from PowerPoint or Word: every line comes back as text in a text box, in the same font, size and colour, and you can change it right on the slide. A scanned PDF has no text inside, so its slides are pictures.
Does Hindi text come out right?
Yes. Hindi typed in Mangal comes back as correct Unicode even when the PDF's own text copies out as gibberish (a common problem with “Microsoft Print to PDF”). Kruti Dev text can be kept in Kruti Dev or converted to Unicode.
Will the design stay the same?
The slide size, colours, boxes, bands, lines, photos and logos are kept in their places. Effects PowerPoint flattens when it makes a PDF — gradients, shadows, glow, semi-transparent boxes — come back as pictures that look exactly the same but cannot be recoloured.
Is my PDF uploaded?
Yes, to our server, because the slides are rebuilt from the fonts inside the PDF. It is deleted as soon as the PowerPoint file has been made; nothing is kept.
Can I convert a scanned presentation?
It converts, but every slide comes back as a picture, because a scan has no text inside. To get the words out of a scan, use the Hindi PDF/Scan to Word tool.
How many pages can I convert?
Up to 60 pages and 15 MB at a time. For a longer deck, split the PDF into parts with PDF Split first.
